Welcome to another episode of the Product in Public newsletter, where I give you an inside look into how I build products.
In today's episode, I've linked to the recording of a live vibe coding session I did yesterday.
Where a lot of people go wrong using agentic programming is that they skip straight to using the in app chat interface.
What I've learned in experimenting with these solutions is that you can turn out a much better product if you follow Product Management best practices and create a PRD, Product Requirements Document, with all the details you desire out of the product and feed that to the program.
In this video, you'll get a chance to see:
- me start to build out the PRD for a new product, a business plan application.
- how Replit builds the application with little input from me and how I use that for inspiration.
In the next episode, I'll be further refining the requirements in the PRD to help push me closer to an MVP.
If you’ve found this information helpful, I hope you’ll do two things for me.
